Our wedding day. Part 3. Reception 15 November 2014

Reception

So after the ceremony we got together to do a little family shoot followed by the official shoot.

Family photos are so precious to have, You can only have these shots taken once. I had a little argument with my photographer here. he was rushing everything. I was not happy about this, if only he knew what was important to me.

Okay so I don't have brothers and sisters, this is my only new brother and sister in law.  My sister in law is actually preggies with her second child here. :)

We had fun, but with the rain, we couldn't do all the shoots I wanted and we were pressed for time.

Oh I love these girls! You my favourite people in the world. Love you guys and thank you for everything you did for me on this special day..

We did the grand entrance, I was so shy, I just wanted to get to my seat... ha ha

But when I saw the décor, I was awestruck for a moment there, the whole décor was a gift from a close family friend whom has their own events company. So the décor was kind of a surprise. I was just in heaven for a moment there, She did such and awesome job. so beautiful. Will always be thankful for these memories Margaret Shandoss/Scott.

So the MC Charles did a little speech and we were served our plated starters, which was Chicken tortellini Pasta.

Followed by the speeches, all I can say here they were awesome, sort and sweet and had everything needed to say. Thankyou to everyone whom did the speeches. Especially my husband that was in tears most of the time, makes me love you more! So Sweet..

We had mains, that was a full on buffet, was awesome food. We had three meats chosen, roast beef and pork, with chicken, three veggies as well as a salad bar. Was amazing, we tried to eat every bit, was hard with all the nerves but enjoyed it very much.


Just before our dance we had a little surpise for our guest, we did the shoe game, and of course I am so curious, I checked what shoe my husband put up all the time, we laughed so much.. ha ha

We then did our dance!!! We have been practising the moves for three months before the wedding, because my husband can;t dance but since the lessons we have been the star of the evening, going to try and post a video here..... we dance to A thousand words by Christina Perri.

My Cake was the best part, it was soooooo pretty, I loved my cake and taste amazing. The First bottom layer was a rich chocolate moist cake filled with caramel, second middle layer was Granadilla cake, and lastly was espresso coffee cake with espresso filling.

We did the bouquet throw and garter was super funny.

I also did a Father and Daughter dance.. plus the wrong song came up!

We then did they photo booth were we could taken funny photos, was super funny.

I must say the best time of the night for me was when people were leaving and we were alone by the bar, drinking shots, relaxing and talking about our day. Was amazing feeling in the world.
