Honeymoon Day 1

So we drove and drove, I had a small idea where we were heading, okay I knew it was Sun City, that we were heading to. I am a good detective. But nothing nothing came close to guessing we were sleeping in the Palace!!

The Palace! Staring.Staring. Gaping.....

How awesome was that!!

You know they pack out the car for you and bring the luggage to your room for you! Whilst you are being escorted to your room with a little tour of the palace.

Just look at the view! I was seriously being upgraded as a princess living in the palace. lol

I was so shocked and I was so happy, I am finally married to the man of my life and so blessed to have him here with me, and super blessed to have such a beautiful wedding, prettier than I ever imagined In my whole life and now this awesome honeymoon at the palace....

Yes we did jump some on the beds... like kiddos. lol

We went exploring the Palace.

Yes the big elephant. It is not possible to take a selfie with the whole elephant in. And we went to the palace during a quiet time, which I like, there were no one to take photos for us.

This was the palace pool, which we didn't know how to get to, we eventually had to as someone to show us the way. you had to follow under the bridge with a waterfall then you get to the pool! 

We had some cocktails... this burger you see, was probably the most expensive burger I ate in my lifetime so far.

So Relaxing, how I miss this place now.

After relaxing at the pool areas, we were so relaxed, I finally felt I could breath again, I think I fell asleep, because for some reason we have had the weirdest weather, it was cold in November!! So it was so nice and toasty in the sun..

We then took a lovely nap. Got ready for my birthday dinner. We didn't know where to eat and after much looking around we found this awesome restaurant "Santorini" with a lovely greekish atmosphere. At this point I thought what could go wrong, I was so happy and so blessed with his amazing person in my life.

We just couldn't stop talking about our wedding and what special day it was. Also what God had in store for us...

They had such a lovely menu, for me that don't like eating main course, I ordered a few starters and foccacia and we shared, like having tapas food. 

I actually ordered whisky with soda water, my husband nearly fell of the chair, ha ha I don't ever drink whisky, never liked the taste, but then I tasted it with soda water, well that did a the trick, its also much healthier to drink whisky than any other drinks. 

We did drink a shot on us, think it was Ponchos, Coffee Liqueur. 

Got to say this was the best dessert ever, like I would drive to Sun city for this dessert. It contains of vanilla ice cream, with a divine chocolate sauce, then it comes with a shot of espresso, and a shot of kahlua. now for the coffee lovers out there like me, can you just imagine?!

On our walk back through the forest. Its a forest you walk through to get back to a car that takes you back to the hotel. Where we literally past out, it was super tiring this wedding.
