Honeymoon Day 3
This was our last day at Sun City before we moved onto our new Location, it was a pretty miserable day :( we couldn't even sit outside. This is what breakfast looks like when you arrive.
You get served with a little drink or yoghurt.
They super friendly people, you really get treated like royalty.
I think, I still look tired here, never realised planning a wedding on your own, but al least with my mom's help, it is pretty stressful!
And of course, I am a COFFEE person, you can treat me any day with coffee, its the first thing that gets me going in the mornings.
Doesn't he just look so sexy..
We then after breakfast to a walk on the other side of the palace, they have all these high trees, ponds, waterfalls.
We then decided to go to the crocodile park they have on site. We got into the fancy Mercedes that they drive you around at the Palace City, they driver even ask me if the aircon was too cold for me *woaw I was like really, for a 2 minute drive to the croc park? looks like some people are fussy.
Gotta say that was funny...
Just to note, we don't support crocodiles being killed for their skin, even if they are so creepy, we just took this photos for fun.
I have to say, I was a bit creeped out about these crocodiles, as we know crocodiles, they don't move much, they stay in one position for almost a whole day, but these crocs where pretty active moving around, and the walls a not tall and crocs can jump out apparently if they want to. Lets hope they not too hungry.
These little meerkats, latterly reminded me of my small baby chihuahua at home, I missed her.
Are they not a bit creepy!!! and these photo's don't do justice in their size, they are huge!!!
Big bird nest in trees..
Wink Wink, no not really just the sun, but we had to get the crocs in a bit lol
Nom nom...
I seriously laughed at this one, seriously?
This mother is protecting her eggs and will stay so for a very long time.
You can hold a baby croc if you would like. Don't think Reino was too keen.
They don't feel great at all..... that's all I can say.
We were so chilled, we stayed for a lovely hot choc at the croc farm.
I have to mention again, Africa is a really lovely place to explore!
Later the day the sun was coming out, I was so cold so we went to the pool just to lay there, it was so nice the sun was just warm enough, and we actually both fell asleep at some stage!!
We has some cocktails again, must say this one was better than the first.
Aww look at that smile.
Finally some sun and sometime between here we did fall asleep.
Then I have a story to tell, we were lying there more to the back alone, we like privacy, and this guy in front was staring at us like crazy, first Reino thought he was staring at me, well he was but after a while his wife/girlfriends also stared at us!! Like for 2 hours long, they were in front and he would literally turn his neck and stare at me or us!! Really? I wish that person could read this and just let me know why they stared at us or me, just why??? I seriously felt like a celebrity that has no privacy!! and being stared at buy creepy people. If you look in the front, you will see a head well it was him!! freaky guy! Like I have heard people say, I look like Charlize Theron, and some princess and some TV Series cast I am not even sure who, fine its a look a like, but we walked past them to the pool and they stilled stared, surely you can see it not them if that was he was thinking. So weird people!
Somewhere there was our room.
Was just nice and sunny, at one stage we thought we should take a swim, we must use it because its our only time here, and we did!! but oooooooh it was very cold!!! for November this must be the weirdest weather ever.
We got ready for dinner, decided to do dinner a little earlier, we decided to go to the same restaurant as the first night for my birthday, we enjoyed it so much..
We took some photo's in the "forest" on the way there because it was still light. It is such a beautiful scenery.
We litterally found this secret deck in the middle of the "forest" was hidden behind a big tree.
We asked a nice security guard to please take a photo of us both, because its just selfies all the time. It was quite funny when he didn't really know hoe the camera works. lol
Here we actually tried the time option, and place the camera on the rock, ha ha people actually walked past us that moment *awkward, can you just imagined what this looked like? Us in the bush, camera on a rock, we smiling and it only takes 10 seconds, but when other people are looking at you and wanting to past, it felt forever...lol
This is at the entrance of the restaurant, you walk over a beautiful pool to get there.
This time we booked for a table by the glass on the pool side, totally love the atmosphere and scenery.
Awesome table, very creative, your own "beach" by your fingers.
Cheers, we took our own wine, we a little fussy when it comes to wine and still learn about wine everyday.
I coulldn't believe this is our last night, so sad! We are really enjoying ourselves being alone.
Our rings on our fingers, I realised the photographer never took that shot.
After the lovely dinner we had, we walked back to the car service and back to the hotel and decided to explore the King Tower!! It was so cold but we did it in anyway. I think in all the post you will realised, I am not a winter person at all.
It was a lot of steps to climb. Good leg exercise.
Finally at the top.
My camera doesn't take such nice evening photos with lights. But this is almost the whole of sun city in one shot.
We then headed back to our room...
Back in our room I got a surprise, Reino ask them to make the room up special...
So sad this was our last night... going to miss this place.
Love T xx
