Post is personal..

Posting things is personal. But also a way of keeping a Journal for people like me whom like to keep memories close. 

I probably wont be on the blog like 24/7. When I have time mostly or feeling the need to let go I come and write. I wontdisappear  forever but time to time.  Mostly when I am down I like to crawl into my shell and stau invisible for some reason. 

Some of us girls have hardships and not everything always goes so well with us. But we try to make it everyday! We still happy, but dont have the luxury most bloggers have. But we all have one thing in common. Thats blogging, writing, feeling of letting go.....

Eds diner with besties 2/8/2014

Sjoe! Been so busy, not having any time to post all these awesome times we've had. 

So our besties met with us for cocktails, you know whats so awesome about these friends of ours - they super fun friends - we are church friends - holiday friends (soon) - partying (kuier) friends - dinner date friends - wedding besties friends - and means so much to us. 

This specific day we also did some wedding shopping at china mall (seperate post)

Wedding Invitations!

Whooohooo! They are finally done. Thanks to my awesome designing skills - I have actually saved round about R7000!!!! And upside is I got what I wanted! 

So guys I made this invitation on Publisher using fonts from the web for personal use! And ta da - my own passport invitation! 

So the booklet looked like the following;

1-

Here I wanted something that says "us", so I used a C monogram. That represents our name. 

I also added a verse from the bible that represents God and marriage. 

2-

Here I actually made a passport form. 

On the second page is the "Visa" actual invitation

3-

Here I added a quote from "The notebook, by Nicholas Sparks" that says a very true part about marriage. Something thats means to us!

Ons the second page is some more details about RSVP, Gift suggestions, no children and extra notes.

4-

Here I added directions as well as the accommodation in area. 

Here is what the envelopes look like. I printed a symbol that created a pattern on one page to create the inside of the envelope!

This is what they looked like front and back.

I used my own handwriting to make it personal. I used a No 1 Calligraphy pen.  

And there you go. DIY invitations done!

Reino's Birthday 3/08/2014

So we had something small for my love's bday. We didnt want a big thing but invited close friends and family over for a buffet Sunday lunch at Stone cradle!

So I had this theme idea of gone fishing - more mature theme for a man and of course I am the cupcake lady ( will post all the cup cakes ive made in the past ) so I made him a special vanilla cupcakes with lemon icing! Yum! 

I individually wrapped them in boxes with ribbon for people to take home! 

I decorated the table very simple - tissue paper as table decor and some flowers I put together in vases just to uplift the table! 

Very simple but makes a difference! 

Yes thats my man! Oh so blessed! 

I brought some sparkling wine and pinotage red wine from home.
